Boho sun poster – Wavy rays

At the centre, a generous orange disc; around it, rays that ripple rather than run straight. Pink, ochre, coral and plum alternate against a powdery background. This sun poster with wavy rays turns a familiar motif into a rhythmic, almost textile-like image, without adding a landscape or figure.

A sun shaped by the movement of lines

The symmetry gives the eye an initial point of reference, but no band is entirely still. The curves widen and narrow between lines punctuated by small dark marks. Thin black accents and diamond shapes interrupt the corners. The whole composition evokes the sun's energy without calling for a particular astrological reading.

The central disc remains clear even when the poster is seen from afar. Up close, you notice the changing widths, the variations within the flat areas of colour and the interplay of light and dark rays. This double reading gives it presence without making it complicated to look at.

Colour in the room, space on the wall

Against white, beige or very pale pink, the image immediately brings visible warmth. In a living room already rich in colour, it can tie things together if you echo just one shade rather than the whole palette. A home office also suits it: the centred composition draws the eye, then the rippling lines invite it to move around.

The motif occupies almost the entire portrait format. Its strength comes from the rays, not from a promise about the material or a glossy effect absent from the drawing.
