Organic shapes poster – Terracotta and sage

A large sage-green shape cuts diagonally across the composition, while a terracotta arc occupies the opposite edge. Between them, discs, beige spaces and a dark blue colour field create unexpected relationships. This abstract terracotta and sage poster is read through its masses and their balance, with no object to recognise.

Soft curves meet clearly defined discs

The black circle near the top acts as a stopping point. Below it, rounded surfaces cross without forming an identifiable landscape. Grey-green calms the warm areas; denser blue gives weight to the lower corner. Each colour therefore has a role within the composition rather than a merely decorative function.

The slightly irregular texture of the colour fields softens this geometry. You can look at the whole as a set of pieces fitting together, then isolate each curve. There is no need to see a sun or mountain in it: the pleasure comes precisely from this freedom of interpretation.

Build around two shades without repeating them

In a living room with neutral seating, terracotta brings warmth while sage keeps the overall effect restrained. A home office can benefit from its clear structure, particularly on an uncluttered wall. Accessories need not copy all five colours: light wood or a single dark touch is enough to create a conversation with the poster.

Its non-figurative composition suits spaces where you want a focal point without an imposed theme. The portrait format preserves the interplay of shapes from top to bottom.
