Boho moon and mountains poster

An ochre crescent overlooks a succession of mountains with flowing contours. A few stars dot the midnight-blue sky; beneath them, the hills unfold in grey-green, powder pink and dark blue. This boho moon and mountains poster offers a night landscape without trying to represent a particular place.

A crescent above layered mountain slopes

The moon occupies much of the upper composition. Below, overlapping ridges lead the eye towards a light valley, then towards the silhouettes of trees in the foreground. Fine lines highlight some of the slopes. More than the stars, these lines give the illustrated landscape its sense of depth.

Midnight blue holds the different layers together. Yet the ochre crescent and pink touches keep the image from feeling cold. Nothing requires you to read a constellation or a sky chart into it: the celestial shapes provide a decorative setting, while the mountains remain the true anchor.

A night-time presence without darkening the room

In a light bedroom, this deep background can create a restful focal point above a chest of drawers or beside a softly lit lamp. In a living room, it sits alongside wood and natural textiles while adding a stronger colour. If the room already contains many patterns, an uncluttered position makes the crescent and ridge lines easier to read.

The contrast between the dark sky and the warm moon gives this poster its distinctive character. Its portrait format retains the full height of the sky above the mountains.
