Avignon Rue des Teinturiers Waterwheel Poster

A shaded walkway beside the turning water

A large mossy wheel stands close to the right bank, with water running down its dark wooden crosspieces. On the left, a cobbled walkway follows the canal beneath broad leafy trees. This Avignon Rue des Teinturiers poster brings the street to the scale of a stroll: warm façades, green shutters, a wall lantern and flowering pots line the narrow passage. The illustrated water changes from deep green to turquoise where the light reaches it.

A low stone bridge crosses the canal farther back. Tree trunks and overhanging branches make a sheltered frame around that opening, while small reflections connect the houses to the water. The printed names AVIGNON and RUE DES TEINTURIERS remain in their original spelling. The same artwork is shown on the English and German product pages; selecting an interface language does not alter its lettering.

Let the path lead past a favourite chair

Beside a reading spot, the walkway offers an easy line to follow from the close flowers towards the bridge. A warm wood side table can echo the house colours, and a green fabric can pick up the canopy. Leave enough space around the image for the full street-and-canal arrangement to remain clear. Its interest comes from the balance between a route on foot and a parallel route through the water.

A hallway can suit the upright view, especially where the poster is seen on approach rather than only from the side. From farther away, the wheel and canal define the scene. Nearby, the dappled paving and small pots become more visible. Choose it for a remembered walk in Avignon or for the quiet meeting of old façades, shade and a flowing channel.
