Woman Seen from Behind with Sun Poster

A woman seen from behind stands at the centre of the image. Her long hair falls in front of a large red disc; branches and hills form a decorative landscape around her. This poster of a woman seen from behind facing the sun shows neither an expression nor a dramatic gesture. All her attention seems directed towards something beyond the frame.

A silhouette that leaves room for imagination

The eye follows the dark hair first, then rises towards the luminous disc. Floral patterns on the clothing echo the branches framing the scene. Figure and landscape remain distinct, yet their colours meet: terracotta red, aubergine, turquoise and ivory are distributed on both sides of the central axis.

This view from behind creates a certain distance. You can identify with the posture without trying to recognise a real person. The clothing details are graphic elements in the illustration; they do not identify a specific traditional costume. The sun itself provides light and rhythm rather than a geographical or temporal reference.

A quiet moment in the bedroom

On a bedroom wall, the still silhouette invites a pause. In a living room, it becomes a more narrative focal point than a simple abstract motif. Deep colours can converse with dark wood, while turquoise touches enliven a neutral setting.

You may find yourself returning to this composition for its open question: what is this woman contemplating? The poster imposes no answer, preserving its charm over time.
