Wheat Field with Cypresses Canvas Print – Vincent van Gogh

Two dark cypresses among Van Gogh's golden wheat

Painted in 1889, Vincent van Gogh's Wheat Field with Cypresses opens onto a sweeping Provençal landscape. Golden wheat ripples like a warm sea in the foreground. Beyond it, olive trees, shrubs and the blue line of the Alpilles lead the eye towards two tall cypresses rising on the right. Their deep green stands out against the luminous sky, giving this version, held by the National Gallery in London, its instantly recognisable presence.

Golden wheat and a moving sky for your interior

Everything seems stirred by the wind: the luminous wheat, foliage, mountains and broad white-and-mauve clouds. Curves echo across the composition, creating a lively rhythm without disturbing the landscape's harmony. Sunlit yellow warms a room, while lavender blues and deep greens bring freshness. The palette pairs naturally with a cream wall, linen, pale wood or a few plants.

A Van Gogh canvas print that opens up the horizon

With its horizontal format, this canvas reproduction sits naturally above a sofa, sideboard or desk. It draws the eye from a distance, then reveals the richness of Van Gogh's brushwork and the field's subtle shades up close. In a living room, bedroom or workspace, it creates a generous sense of space and a Mediterranean atmosphere. Hung on its own, it becomes an inviting landscape escape and retains its balance even at a large size. Choosing a Wheat Field with Cypresses canvas print brings a celebrated, luminous artwork full of movement into your home.
