Sun face poster – Terracotta

A woman's face with closed eyes occupies the centre of the image. Around it, an orange crown opens into rays, while long coloured bands flow down like hair. This terracotta sun face poster unites portrait and celestial body in a single figure, without trying to depict a real person.

A portrait caught within the rays

The forehead and cheeks stay calm amid a very animated drawing. Ochre and orange rays reach towards the edges, then the movement continues through pink, green and midnight-blue bands around the face. A small pale shape above the eyebrows emphasises the symmetry, but is not enough to identify a religious symbol.

The illustration reveals itself in two stages. First, the closed eyes and sun shape; then the curved lines and tiny decorative marks in the hair. Warm colours dominate, supported by dark areas that keep the face clear from afar. Yet the ribbons retain a flowing character.

A strong figure that needs room to breathe

In a bedroom, this portrait can become the wall's only figurative motif. In a living room, it echoes earthy materials without requiring an entirely bohemian interior. Its frontal composition has more presence than a discreet botanical scene: on a small stretch of wall, it is better to leave it space around the edges.

The peaceful expression tempers the energy of the rays. The contrast between these two movements brings the poster to life without text or any additional setting.
