Self-Portrait – Kasimir Malevich Wall Art

A Hypnotic Gaze Against a Scarlet Background

Our Kasimir Malevich portrait wall art "The Man with Green Eyes" captures the psychological intensity characteristic of Russian modern art. This striking work of art depicts an elegant man with a penetrating gaze, dressed in an emerald green jacket and an immaculate shirt set off by a red and black tie. The chromatic treatment of the face — divided between luminous yellow tones and aquatic greens — reveals Malevich's mastery of Cubo-Futurism. The piercing turquoise eyes fix the viewer with an unsettling intensity, while the deep black hair contrasts dramatically with the passionate red background scattered with delicate floral motifs.

A Bold Palette in Service of Expression

This modern painting is distinguished by its revolutionary use of color as a psychological tool. The fragmented face alternates between solar yellow and aquatic green, creating a fascinating duality that evokes the multiple facets of human personality. The deep green jacket engages harmoniously with the scarlet reds of the background and the tie, while the brilliantly white collar frames the face like a luminous border. The high-definition canvas print faithfully restores the expressive brushstrokes, rich textures, and authentic craquelure that testify to the venerable age of this contemporary canvas. The touches of midnight blue in the hair add a mysterious depth to this captivating wall art.

Cubo-Futurism Applied to the Portrait

This portrait wall art perfectly illustrates Malevich's revolutionary approach to the age-old genre of the portrait. Rather than simply reproducing physical traits, the artist decomposes and reconstructs the face into distinct chromatic zones, creating an emotional map of the subject. The thick arched black brows, the geometrically simplified nose, and the finely drawn mouth create a physiognomy that is simultaneously recognizable and abstract. Ideal for a contemporary interior, this modern portrait brings intellectual sophistication and a magnetic presence to your interior décor. The subject's direct gaze creates an immediate connection with the viewer, transforming the space into a visual dialogue.

A Magnetic Presence in Your Space

In large format, this decorative wall art becomes far more than simple wall décor. The intensity of the gaze, the chromatic richness, and the vertical composition create an almost living presence in your interior. This Cubist work will captivate your guests and spark passionate conversations about the Russian avant-garde. The vibrant red background, scattered with subtle floral details, adds a decorative dimension that balances the strength of the central portrait. An ideal centerpiece for a living room, a library, or any space seeking character and artistic refinement.
