Poppy Vintage Canvas Print — Antique Botanical Plate

The 19th-century botanical plate, restored

This canvas print revisits the codes of the vintage botanical plate — Latin annotations, precise drawings of floral organs, aged paper. A illustrated encyclopedia of the 19th century in the tradition of Pierre-Joseph Redouté, Maria Sibylla Merian, and the plates of Audubon.

Erudite classicism for a cultivated interior

Vertical format, ideal for integrating into a gallery of encyclopedic prints. The sepia tones, worn reds and cream paper complement libraries, scholars’ studies, reimagined classrooms and vintage chic interiors inspired by cabinets of curiosities.

A scholarly edition for lovers of antique botany

HD giclée-printed on 470 g/m² cotton canvas, this piece renders every anatomical detail and every texture of aged paper. Solid wood stretcher bar 3.81 cm deep, continuous mirror-wrap printed edges, matte anti-glare finish. An encyclopedic artwork that speaks to lovers of illustrated botany.
