Contemporary Poster – Organic Grooves

Two coloured curves descend through an ivory surface with soft contours. One is cobalt blue, the other coral; between them, a rounded form catches the light. This organic grooves poster relies on very little, yet each line changes the perception of the space depicted.

Two colours that carve into the light

The blue groove enters from above and winds along the left edge of the central form. The coral appears on the right, narrow at first, then broadening as it descends. Their paths are neither parallel nor symmetrical. Raking light illuminates the ivory ridges and leaves soft shadows in the hollows. The sense of relief seems to emerge from the course of the colours as much as from the surface itself.

The composition is framed so closely that the limits of the depicted material remain unknown. This lack of scale allows the forms to read as an abstract landscape without imposing a particular motif. The slightly warm ivory ground brings out the two saturated accents.

Vivid abstraction without visual overload

In a room with natural materials, the poster can introduce cobalt and coral without disrupting a calm palette. A cream living room, landing or narrow entrance hall would suit this portrait composition, which gently guides the eye from top to bottom. The perceived depth comes from the interplay of shadows and curves. It brings movement to a wall without seeking a figurative scene.
