Mermaid Poster – Coral Garden

Seated on a rock, a mermaid gazes at the submerged arches rising in the distance. Her turquoise tail descends between red and golden corals, while fish pass through the blue rays of light. This poster of a mermaid in a coral garden reveals an underwater world without imposing a fixed story on it.

A mermaid among the corals

The figure occupies the left of the composition. Her brown skin and plum-coloured bodice contrast with the blue water; the scales on her tail catch small touches of light. The two tail fins spread towards the bottom, drawing a flowing movement among the rocks. Around her, red coral branches form delicate silhouettes, while the ochre masses in the foreground give the scene depth.

This portrait remains calm: the mermaid is neither swimming towards a goal nor posing for the viewer. Her gaze towards the right connects the figure with the ruins that come into view next. The arches and columns suggest an ancient city, but the image does not claim to depict a real place.

Light passes through the underwater ruins

In a bedroom or living room, the luminous blues can visually open up the space, while the corals bring warm accents. The poster pairs well with a pale wall, natural wood or a few terracotta-toned objects. Its portrait format follows the downward sweep of the tail and the height of the columns.
