A golden valley beyond the tall trees

This luminous landscape canvas print draws the eye beneath an arch formed by two ancient trees. Their dark trunks frame a green valley, a grassy path and distant mountains bathed in gold. The light belongs entirely to the image: the canvas emits no light of its own. It is the contrast between deep shadows and the sunlit sky that gives the scene its radiance.

The composition acts as a passage. From the foreground, the path leads towards the centre of the valley, then on to the bluish peaks.
