Knotted Ribbon Line Drawing Poster

A knot taking shape before your eyes

A pink ribbon enters from the lower left, crosses the centre of the image and continues towards the upper right. Its petrol-blue outline shows exactly where the ribbon passes over or under itself. In the middle, the curves loop into a single knot, while the ends retain their diagonal momentum. This knotted ribbon line drawing poster begins with a familiar object, yet its curves can also be read as an abstract form. The drawing does not fill the ribbon with detail: a few folds are enough to suggest volume. Nothing indicates a gift parcel, a particular fabric or a surrounding scene. The motif concentrates on the act of tying a knot, instantly recognisable and then open to being followed line by line.

Pink and celery green: a more playful pairing than it seems

The background is divided between pale pink and a large celery-green shape undulating along the left. The pink ribbon crosses both areas, while petrol blue keeps its edges clear. This alternation gives depth to an image made from very few elements. In a bright hallway, it can become a welcoming accent without a written message. In a bedroom, it picks up plain textiles or small colourful objects without demanding the same palette throughout. At the centre, the ribbon passing over and then under itself holds the eye, while its ends draw the composition towards opposite corners. The image has no text. That sense of movement is free to unfold, whether you see a ribbon or simply a line knotting itself in space.
