Fig Tree Poster – Terracotta Courtyard

A tree and a few sections of wall are enough to set the scene in this fig tree poster with a terracotta setting. Large lobed leaves spread their pale veins before two contrasting surfaces, one petrol blue and the other orange-toned. Purple figs punctuate the foliage. The winding, divided grey trunk moves through this architecture with a freedom made especially visible by the flat areas of colour.

The foliage draws a second pattern on the wall

At first glance, the leaves occupy almost the entire space. Looking lower, you discover their shadow on the pink wall: a cut-out silhouette accompanying the small staircase. This softer pattern echoes the detailed foliage in the foreground. The veins, fruit and irregular wood become more distinct against the plain surfaces.

The dark arch on the right introduces an opening without revealing what lies beyond. It balances the broad blue area on the left and gives the fig tree a genuine architectural setting. The palette combines earthy pink, deep green and violet; it evokes a Mediterranean garden without specifying an address or a particular village.

A graphic fig tree beside the dining table

In a kitchen with pale cabinet fronts, this fig tree poster with its terracotta setting brings the colour of a sunny courtyard. It could also sit near a round table, with a ceramic bowl or a plain tablecloth. The fruit makes a quiet connection with meals, while the stairs and arch keep the composition grounded in an inhabited landscape.

This fig tree will appeal to those who prefer generous plants to neatly arranged bouquets. Its leaves do not form a symmetrical ornament: they overlap, turn in different directions and leave room for the wood. An understated setting around the poster preserves this meeting of geometric walls and botanical movement.
