Dancing Grasses Line Drawing Poster

Three curves and hanging spikelets

The stems rise from the bottom of the image to different heights, each bending into a curve. Their elongated, hanging spikelets seem ready to sway, while slender leaves gather near the base. Firm burgundy lines stand out against an even, pale sky-blue background. A soft pink band crosses the lower edge without turning the composition into a landscape.

This grass line drawing poster finds its movement in the bending plants alone. The tallest stem on the left is balanced by those in the centre and on the right. The spikelets are neither flowers nor feathers: their repeated outlines establish a delicate rhythm. The drawing suggests the lightness of a meadow without identifying a season, a species or a crop of wheat.

A breath of meadow without the landscape

In a bedroom, pale blue opens up the space and the pink echoes soft, powdery textiles. In a narrow hallway, the vertical curves bring height without looking rigid. Above a desk, the drawing offers a simple botanical reference that leaves the surrounding wall uncluttered.

The portrait format preserves the long stems and gives the spikelets room to breathe above the pink band. This is neither a bouquet nor an oversized leaf, but a group of grasses following supple arcs. Burgundy lines on blue catch the eye first; the pink curve at the bottom brings a gentler finish.
