Contemporary Romantic Wall Art – Under the Setting Sun

Two dark profiles lean close together to the left of a pale sun in this romantic couple and city canvas print. Flowing hair and a dress extend their outlines towards the warmer side. Teal and deep blue on the left give way to yellow, orange and red around stylised buildings on the right.

The pale sun separates the close profiles from the city

The woman’s face stands against a warm area, while the male silhouette stays nearer the darker blue ground. Their close foreheads establish the subject without occupying the full width of the image. Beside them, the light disc remains clear, creating a separate point of attention before the skyline begins.

Round orange points punctuate the teal side. Across the composition, the pale window dots in orange buildings repeat small light accents. Printed painterly patches connect these different areas, alternating sharper silhouettes with freer marks in the background. From a distance, the blue and orange halves organise the scene; closer viewing reveals finer hair contours and window patterns.

Use teal bedding to connect the cooler side with the room

Plain teal bedding can repeat the left-hand palette in a bedroom. A cream wall echoes the sun, with one orange accessory taking up the warmer background. The canvas is mounted on a solid wood stretcher and includes mounting hardware. Allow clear wall space at both ends to retain the contrast between the couple and the skyline.

The close profiles against yellow and red also suit a position above a sofa where they can be seen on entering the room. Compare the canvas width with the furniture beneath it before choosing a size. The Romantic Ruins — Ruins of the Past composition offers a landscape subject within the romantic wall art collection, for a different balance between figures, architecture and open space.
