Annecy Wall Art - Jewel of the Alps

Turquoise water fills the foreground of this Annecy canvas print, between coral, ochre and lilac facades. Small boats line both banks, while pink flowers reach into the scene from the right. The illustrated printed view leads the eye along the canal towards a small bridge, then up to the mountain shapes represented beyond it.

Reflections carry the facade colours into the canal

Yellow and dark shutters punctuate the walls beneath brown roofs that draw closer together near the centre. Balconies and patches of flowers add smaller details along the upper floors. On the water, orange bands meet blue and green shades. Pale lines across the foreground suggest ripples, opening a wider space between the two banks before the canal narrows.

The pink flowers beside the water provide a close foreground feature against the blue-grey peaks beyond. White areas mark the ridges beneath a cyan sky and broad clouds. Green leaves partly frame the upper right corner. The canal’s perspective connects nearby details, successive buildings and a more distant mountain outline, giving the upright composition a clear route from bottom to top.

Echo the turquoise in a bright hallway

In a cream-painted hallway, the canal with coral and ochre facades can sit above a narrow console. A small blue object picks up the water; honey-coloured wood relates to the roofs. Position lamps or bouquets at the furniture’s sides to keep the canal visible. In a living room, the portrait format can also occupy a wall section between two openings.

The four portrait sizes are 31 × 41, 41 × 51, 46 × 61 and 61 × 91 cm. Leave room above the mountain shapes and below the reflections when measuring your wall. Mounting hardware is included. A compact size gives the scene a smaller presence, while a larger canvas offers more room for the facades and boats.
