Open countryside or forest: choose the depth

A countryside scene often leaves room for sky and several planes to the horizon. A forest draws trunks, foliage and detail closer; a stream can lead the eye through them. Compare how much open space you prefer, even between equally sized green prints.

Beyond green: observe season and light

Nature art is not limited to green. Dry fields bring ochre, mist lightens a scene, and autumn adds brown or red. Consider your room’s light. A dark print next to dark furniture may stand out less than a brighter landscape; small light areas can change the balance.
