A blue river curves between two snow-covered banks. Dark trunks narrow towards pale light in the distance: this snowy landscape canvas brings a winter perspective into the room, with the water drawing the eye through the scene.

A river leading between winter trees

In the foreground, the white bank reaches gently into the water and small pale patches dot its blue surface. Vertical trees set the rhythm while their alignment leads towards a brighter opening. The palette stays restrained, moving between cool blue, white and grey. The appearance of snow, water and depth belongs to the image printed on canvas; it does not imply a hand-painted original or raised texture.
