Silver Fish on Turquoise Collage Poster

Two fish on either side of an ivory wave

The first fish crosses the upper part towards the right; the second swims lower down towards the left. Their silver scales remain sharp among burgundy and olive seaweed. Between them runs a broad ivory strip whose undulating edge suggests a wave made of paper. A cobalt-blue disc sits behind the upper fish on a continuous turquoise background. This fish collage poster creates an encounter without the animals crossing paths. Their fins, tails and eyes stay clearly visible, while marine foliage brings softer, irregular shapes. The result is as much a graphic composition as a sea motif: two swimming levels, divided by the pale strip, give movement to a still scene. No species name, reef or location is suggested. The title “Marine Garden” describes abundant seaweed and the meeting of colours, not a real underwater site.

Clear turquoise around the dining table

In a dining room or kitchen, turquoise can provide a broad, fresh note. Burgundy seaweed adds unexpected depth, far from a beach poster in nothing but pale blue. On a white wall, the fish outlines and ivory band stay distinct; beside dark wood, cobalt blue and olive touches gain presence. The image works at two distances. From afar, opposing silhouettes and the wavy divide stand out first. Up close, the details of scales, small seaweed branches and variations in the background emerge. No text is printed on the artwork, leaving this poster free to work with other images or hold its own. It evokes the sea through its inhabitants and colours without turning the room into a literal nautical setting.
