Linked Ellipses Geometric Poster

Four rings passing in front of one another

An ivory ring opens the composition at the upper left. Coral, petrol blue and mustard continue the movement diagonally towards the lower right. At the junctions, shadows and lit surfaces show which ring passes in front of another. The forms seem to have volume while remaining a graphic image. Powder pink is visible through the openings, softening the interplay of crossings.

This interlocking ellipse poster reads as an open chain rather than a repeated pattern. Each colour has its place, and each junction subtly changes the depth. Rounded edges contrast with the diagonal momentum; the composition is lively without sharp angles or an inscribed message. Up close, you follow the rings as they pass each other; from a distance, their sweeping movement comes first.

A gentle sense of depth in the room

In a living room, the pink background can warm a light wall while petrol blue adds a deeper counterpoint. In a study, the four rings bring movement without taking over the whole visual space. A few cream, coral or mustard objects are enough to create an echo, but the poster can also work alone above a low cabinet.

If you enjoy circular forms but do not want perfectly flat dots, the shaded junctions offer a different sensation here. Portrait format lets the chain descend naturally; openings between the rings retain space and invite the eye to move among the colours.
