Surreal giant moon in an empty swimming pool poster

The moon has taken the water's place

A luminous sphere occupies almost the pool's full width. The swimming pool is empty: its blue tiles and dark floor lines remain visible around the moon. A metal ladder descends from the coping in the foreground, an ordinary detail that makes the moon's size more surprising. Behind the cypress trees, the sky shifts from orange to violet.

This surreal moon in a swimming pool poster brings together two scenes rarely seen side by side. The moon is not distant, reduced to a point in the sky; it seems to rest here, within reach of the steps. The tiles take on a cool tone beneath its light, while the terracotta terrace retains the evening's warmth. The image does not try to explain this encounter: it simply lets you take in its proportions.

A quiet light for the room

In a bedroom, the pale round shape can offer a resting point among the pool's lines. In a living room, the blues of the pool and the warm coping tones create an easy transition to natural materials or colourful furniture. The slightly off-centre ladder avoids rigid symmetry and invites the eye into the scene.

You notice the moon first, then the floor markings and finally the trees against the sunset. This movement from near to far gives depth to an image built around a single large volume. It suits those seeking a dreamlike poster that still offers the pleasure of observing concrete details.
