Art Deco Woman Poster – Plum Glove and Ivory Dress

The plum glove defines the portrait

The gloved hand rises near the neck and catches the eye first. Its plum colour contrasts with the draped ivory dress, then leads towards the face of a woman with waved black hair. She looks left, slightly beyond the image. The close crop gives this Art Deco woman with plum glove poster the presence of a fashion portrait without identifying the figure as a real person.

A large coral disc sits behind her head. Around it, petrol blue breaks into facets and deepens the background. The colour fields are bold, but the face and dress folds retain softer modelling. This meeting between geometry and expression gives the illustration its character.

A confident gaze for a living room or study

In a neutrally coloured living room, the glove becomes a small accent that you can echo with a plum cushion or ceramic piece. Coral warms the whole, while petrol blue keeps the portrait from feeling overly precious in ivory and black alone. Above a writing desk or in a reading corner, the face catches the eye even when books surround the poster.

This image suits someone who enjoys elegant figures but prefers a drawn scene to a period photograph. It tells no celebrity's or fashion house's story: its subject lies in the pose, waved hairstyle and hand gesture. The vertical format strengthens the figure's poise and lets the dress unfold to the bottom of the picture. A single portrait can set the tone of a wall without requiring a whole gallery.
